How to identify your device:
Not sure which device you have? Watch our quick how-to videos for identifying your iPhone or Android model.iPhoneOpen the Settings app on your iPhone.
Tap General.
Tap About.
Look for Model Name — it will say something like:
iPhone 11 Pro
iPhone 13
iPhone 14 Pro Max
If you can't access the settings (e.g., the phone is locked or not working), try checking the device physically:
iPhone 7 and earlier: The model number is printed on the back of the phone near the bottom (e.g., A1660).
Newer iPhones (iPhone 8 and later): The model number is on the SIM tray.
Samsung
Open the Settings app on your Samsung phone.
Scroll down and tap About phone.
You’ll see your Model Name listed at the top.
It will look something like:Galaxy S21 Ultra
Galaxy A54 5G
Galaxy Note 20
Galaxy Z Flip5
If you cant access the settings, look at the back of the phone — some Samsung models (especially older ones) have the model number printed near the bottom.
It will be something like:
Model: SM-G991BYou won’t see the marketing name (e.g., Galaxy S21), but this code helps you identify it.
If it’s not printed on the back, remove the SIM card tray and inspect it closely. The model number is often laser-etched in very small text on the side of the tray.
